8 new members join St Andrew’s Reading

16th May 2022 / Deborah Walker / Uncategorised

Special Day as 8 new members join St Andrew’s URC Reading

Sunday 8th May was a very joyful day as in a packed Church, friends and family saw 8 of our Church family came into membership of St Andrew’s URC, Reading.

Revd Robert Barthram received into membership by Profession of Faith: Jacob, Mark, Harriet and Nigel; and by Transfer Linda from the Presbyterian Church of Ireland, Shalini and Ravi from the Church of South India, and David from the Presbyterian Church of East Africa.

We also celebrated a Sacrament of Baptism when Revd Barthram baptised Claire daughter of Mary and David and introduced her to new Church family.

St Andrew’s is blessed by having around twenty nationalities represented in our  multi-cultural Church Family.

Yes, a very joyful day for our eight new members as family and friends joined them to celebrate their Special Day.
