You may be aware that GEAR, together with URC Youth, has supported Crossfire with their annual youth camp and other events aimed at young people for many years now. The Crossfire Committee regularly reviews the structure, leadership and procedures to ensure that these camps and events can provide the right level of support and guidance for the young folk exploring their faith through them and their success in this is demonstrated by the fact that most of the volunteers (leaders and committee) have themselves developed their faith through these events.
Recently, the Committee identified the need for someone to co-ordinate and support the volunteers who freely offer their time, skills and gifts in leading small groups and other activities. They have produced a Job Description (which includes details not only of the job, but also its context within the organisation) and are seeking our assistance in getting it out there – hence this email. Follow the link below:
Job Description – Leaders Coordinator
We know that the right person is out there just waiting for an opportunity to help the team who are doing such an amazing job and we just need your help in linking that person to the Job Description – maybe it’s you, or someone you know!
Please read the Job Description prayerfully and pass it on to anyone who might be willing to help in this way.
