What a wonderful blessing technology has proven for uniting so many people for the World Day of Prayer, Friday 5 March.
Salisbury, Andover, Poole and Devizes joined forces and hosted a Zoom service with 198 screens joining, several with 2 people. There were 22 people involved as readers, 3 pre-recorded musicians, and 5 on the IT team (all from Salisbury & Andover United Reformed Churches including two men who took the day off work for the service and the rehearsal the week before). Folks joined us from all over the UK and one on the telephone from South Africa! As one person commented, she’d never been to such a large WDP service.
